Over the past year, being surrounded by non-christians, and i've had countless arguments about my beliefs and faith. While they weren't being in anyways harmful towards it, they were just curious why we believe in what we believe in. Here follows an unbias debate towards this issue:

Statement: God doesnt exist? Stuff happens? Big bang?

This is mainly an atheist theory, they don't believe theres a God, and they don't believe in the afterlife. My point is, if there's no afterlife, we would not exist a certain point in time, so why are we experiencing life now? There has to be an afterlife, or else we would not "remember" any of this, we cannot simply go out of existence. Back to the God theory, if God doesn't exist, how are we here? The big bang? All life bursting and created all at once simply by chance, and from nothing? All of this cannot be simply created from nothing at all, and if it really was "created" how did everything end up the way it did? The mountains? Water? Atoms? Us? There obviously someone or something behind all of creation.

Q: If God does exist, and he has a divine plan, do we have free will?

Yes, we have free will. God created us according to his plan, and according to this, he knows exactly what your life will turn out, and what your purpose in life is, because he created you, and knows how you would react and how you will make choices. In this case, free will and God's plan can co-exist.

Q: In this case, is God's plan fate?

No, God gave us a choice, he created us as human beings in his own image, and with that, a thinking and idependent mind. We can decide which ever path we want to follow.

Q: Then, why did God create good and bad personallities?

He created both because each plays their own part in his plan. Yes, even criminals and offenders can help accomplish his plan.

Q: How did God create all of this?/What if God used the big bang to create the earth?

Possible, we are not actually sure how God created all of this, he simply stated that it took "7 days" and on each day he created something new. Wheather even these 7 days were truly 7 days, or were not spread out over an extended peroid, we dont know. On big bang, the theory states that everything was created at once, this means the big bang theory is false.

Q: Big Band is false? I dont believe..

Then lets take it into consideration, if it is true, and everything was created at once, from nothing, and all in perfect order, what would make the chances of that? Its impossible, and if there is nothing or no one in control of the big bang, what initiated it? I rest my case.

Q: Big bang? Maybe its 1/2 truth?

Perhaps God's creation is somewhat revelent to some of the big bang theories. Not the actual big bang itself, but perhaps how the planets were created, and how humans were formed. The bible doesn't state how things were created, the process remains a mystry. But maybe, God created planets from millions of particles that formed together to form a solid structure, maybe atoms were created from molecules, science has proved all this plaussable.

Q: Life.. Science cant explain

Its true, how do we explain how we think? Particles dont make a brain, or a heart, or a peronality. Particles, did not create feelings or emotions, and Particles did not just simply create everything. So how do we explain this? Only one.. thats right.. i shall conclude on this
note.
