Several Issues i often find popping up. In the bible, up to the account of noah's ark, it stated that people lived for extremely long peroids of time compared to modern society.. why is this?
There are many factors that could account for the lowering of the life spans after the flood. The Bible states that the flood would not only destroy the land dwelling air breathing animals but it would also destroy the earth. (Gen. 6:13; 9:11)
After the flood the earth was completely different than the earth before. There were widespread global differences. These would include changes in the climate, composition of the atmosphere, hydrologic cycle, geologic features, cosmic radiation reaching the earth, ozone concentration, ultra violet light, background radiation, genetics, diet, and a host of other subtle and/or profound chemical and physiological changes. These changes caused a rapid decline of the longevity of post flood humanity.

Ok, im guessing some people don't believe a flood could have caused all this, but think about it logicly.. If the flood was real, then the ark must have been real? Exactly, http://www.bibleplus.org/discoveries/noahsark.htm
The article explains that a site has been found, of what some people believe to be noah's ark.
Ok, now how did the flood cause THAT much change to the earth? Its hard to explain really, according to the bible the earth was flooded a little over a year, during this time, think about it, with no trees to produce oxygen, the ozone layer would have taken a huge beating from the co2 created by the reaminning inhabitants of the ark. Which then causes a "global warming". At this point, some vegetation would no longer be able to survive due to this warming of the earth. And because the ozone layer was weakened, more radiation from the sun is able to get through, thus shortening life expectency. (They didn't have sunblock back then ya know XD) My point still probably has many unanswereds to it, but i hope its good for now :D
