After walking through countless shops in Canada, I realise that I have developed this distorted fascination with pretty sparkly small objects which often come in the form of jewels and crystals. Either my supposedly nonexistent feminine instincts came on late, or I'm morphing into barbie doll.
Well, if I can't look pretty, I can still certainly admire pretty things. Heh. And I have all the more reason to do so. But I shan't harp on my lack of beautiful features.
I really liked the art and craft shops in Grandville Island. You'd be amazed at what people can make from the most ordinary of things! I saw cute cards with pop up pictures, lamps made of textured cardboard, and recycled wire jewellery twisted oh so intricately.
Most unfortunately, the money's not in my hands, so I couldn't spend a single cent, or dime, without my parents' approval.
And the pastries. Oh goodness. My father fell in love with them, totally. Good thing we visited the shops after lunch. I shudder to think of the temptation otherwise. Auntie Lay Lian made this really really delicious cheese cake that really really rocks!!! hahaa. It's sweet goodness on the top with the slight raspberry dusting, and tangy creamy cheese oozing in the middle, with the crumbly Graham biscuits at the bottom layer.
Oh we bought cupcakes! How could I forget? It was at this pink pink pink (EEEEW) shop, but the cupcakes are unbelievably enticing with colourful icing. (pardon the rhyming) We haven't eaten them, but I certainly will tomorrow morning! And no pictures for you guys. haha.
Oh crap, I really sound like barbie doll. Someone save me from the clutches of that blonde figurine!!!
We're going to Whistler for the next three days I think. I haven't packed. Tim's being mean, won't let me sleep or read properly. The boys are obsessing themselves over Tim's computer. Ernest Senior is strutting around asking me why Im not asleep, and Auntie Lay Lian is packing, as all mothers like to do at the most inappropriate time. I think I'm supposed to sleep now.
Goodnight all ^^

[[ The Wishlist ]]
I could use a new set of headphones...
More guitars?
Maybe a grand piano...
and the will power to write my books
If only life was a fantasy story...
A weekend away with my extended family perhaps? (You know who you are) (^_^)
Fantasy of Darkness (A book project of mine)
