While studying, or when I was supposed to, They put the Science main papers and Science MCQs weeks apart from each other. For what? To see how long knowledge is retained in the puny human brain? To see how long it takes for us to forget that Vanadium(V) Oxide is the catalyst for the manufacture of sulphuric acid? They place the exams in the afternoon.. mostly. So that the first thought that comes to mind when we wake up in the glorious morning is the impending dread of the exam a few hours away. We can't concentrate on studying, spend our time fretting, and deprive our bodies of food in a pathetic attempt to minimise the risk of vomitting during the paper which would result in us losing precious time while we run to the toilet to clean ourselves up. Not even mentioning the acute shame. Ah. Despite all the above, there is an irritating and annoying part of my brain that tells me that im just too mentally exhausted from trying to remember the features of an efficient civil service. SS is so dry, I could probably use it as a drying agent. Okay someone applaud my laudable effort at trying to apply chemical properties to Social Studies. Ha bernice. So I suppose it's all for our good sigh. I'm joking. Really. ~aloe
the truth of the conspiracy was finally revealed to me.
How could I not have seen it before?
Was I too stuck in oxygen-poor mud for my mind to function?
Without pneumatophores?
This O level thing is a sham really.
It's designed to test how far students can be worn out before they snap.
Developing one's potential. Sure. More like seeing how far they can stretch you out on this pulley without you splattering all over.
They stretch the silly thing over four weeks... evidently some kind of time trial, to rob us of our rightful holidays and kill school spirit by casting an atmosphere of tension and anxiety over every student. It's our GRADUATING YEAR you know ><

I could use a new set of headphones...
More guitars?
Maybe a grand piano...
and the will power to write my books
If only life was a fantasy story...
A weekend away with my extended family perhaps? (You know who you are) (^_^)
Fantasy of Darkness (A book project of mine)
