I am loving this holidays.
We attempted to throw YuLi a surprise birthday today. But problem is, she is an early-comer. Which is more I can say for certain people. She actually came half an hour earlier, much to our utter panic. WanXiang love, you heard wrongly. She was at OUTRAM, not ORCHARD.
So we sent WanXiang to delay her. haha. I pity her brother, having to watch a pack of seemingly insane females round around Vivo because of dear YuLi. But after having surreptitiously avoided her birthday because it was in the holidays for four years, our guilt caught up with us.
Bernice and Elaine seem to have developed an obsessive interest in my wallet, passing it around to each other until WX was finally forced to stuff it down her jacket. Which neatly cut off my attempts to get it back. In the movie, I was on my knees, begging WX for my wallet, until I turned around, and found my bag missing. SIGH. I managed to get my wallet back, but then it went missing too. I turned to see Bernice stuffing it into her bag shamelessly.
Enchanted was simply enchanting. A movie with good music, abeit airy-fairy kinds, is simply captivating. YuLi did insist that Golden Compass was utterly disappointing though. I am gloating. Narnia, Prince Caspian next! How about it Yuen? We should go somewhere with a decent bookstore though, instead of another overpriced, dressy mall.
