The city’s raid defense sirens blared in a thunderous volume, as military and police personnel, locked down the city, in an aura of fear and misconception. The day had suddenly turned gray but the passing of noon. Frigates covered the city in a shadow, blocking out the bright sun. Civilians and tourists kept watch from inside their homes and hotels, as the city gradually began to turn into a war zone.
“What the bloody hell is going on?” Isabella’s voice was in a state of panic.
“The city is under a full scale lockdown, if we continue to remain outdoors it would be pure suicide.” Kimao led the pack as they trudged along the city’s somewhat deserted alley ways.
“But why a lockdown?” a loud jet roared over Isabella’s small voice, as a squadron of fighters burned past them over top the city scrapers.
“War.” Kimao looked past into the distant horizon, in the distance, a line of frigates and flag ships. From the sea, they could see warships not too far of the coast, the situation seemed helpless.
