He got atop his feet, scanning the surroundings. “The fantasy of darkness,” Walker thought. He then heard footsteps from behind. He was quick to answer the call, but there was nothing there. The footsteps grew louder as it zoned in on Walker, there was nothing to be seen. “What the hell is this?!” his thoughts suddenly became louder then the trembling of his limbs. The footsteps stopped, almost right in front of him. Walker was unexpectedly staring deep into the eyes of an unknown fiend. Walker could feel a presence in front of him, then suddenly, nothing. “Argh!” Walker let his voice out in pain. It was located around his chest area, the left side to be specific. He clutched his heart as if he was having a stroke. He fell to his knees, helpless, and unable to do anything about the given situation.
A flash of light consumed the sea of darkness, as if the gates of heaven opened before Walker’s eyes. He heard several large cries, the cries of war, and the cries of warriors. He heard the feet of those soldiers as they swiftly passed his fragile position. He could hear swords clash, and shields deflect, but there was nothing to see. The pain let go of Walker as he quickly rose to his feet. He finally found himself surrounded by light, not darkness.
