“This way,” Wolf pointed to a small door at the end of the hallway. He opened the door to lead them in, “after you.” The door led to a dark room, it was very much colder in here, too cold almost. Walker gave a slight shiver.
“What the hell is this place?” Walker was slightly nervous, almost as if he were about to be murdered in the dark.
“You’ll see,” Wolf snapped and several torches lit like magic. In front of the three was standing a katana, set in a stone carved to hold it. It was very much larger then a regular katana and it was decorated with jewels in the steel, there was also an insignia at the bottom of the blade, a wolf.
Walker was confused, “so why are you showing this to me? What does this have to do with Isanbak?”
Wolf turned serious, “there was an ancient prophecy, written by the ancestors of Arcadia,” Wolf gathered his thoughts, “it was said that a terrible evil will be uncovered, and betray the people, and this evil would be awakened by its master.”
“I still don’t understand,” Walker interrupted.
“Then perhaps you would like me to continue,” Wolf’s face turned tight, “a savior would arise from the commons, and rid the evil from Arcadia.”
“So, you think Walker is this savior?” Isabella sounded surprised.
“Perhaps, only the true savior can wield this blade, anyone else who tries, will fail, go on Walker,” Wolf turned to the katana.
Walker was in hesitation, he walked slowly to the weapon, taking his time on each step. He reached for the sword finally, and gave it a slight pull. The blade smoothed out of the stone easily. Walker was almost horrified, “what else did the prophecy say?”
