The sun beat down upon the lush fields of the farm. It was another perfect day, with the bliss of life filling its bowl with moments of perfection and relaxation. It was another quiet day in the small community of Helm’s State. The young toddlers were off to afternoon school as usual, just down the road from the ranch. The eager children piled up into the back of the wagons, as they cuddled amongst themselves, socializing and joking around. The wagon master didn’t seem to mind it at all; in fact he was a father himself. The Bog family was huge compared to the other families. Besides John Bog the wagon master, his wife Carol Bog and their seven children. The family was largely involved in the community, hosting social events, community meetings, and even the odd excursion out of the utopia of the town. They would travel to mountains, rivers, lakes, in search of the good old fun of the outdoors. I would regularly attend these excursions, but today would be different. I had just turned seventeen a week ago, and was now ready to begin working on a trade, to help support the family, and eventually my own. I would be traveling to a small trade’s school in the nearby town of Hillside Valley, among many of my school colleagues. We were all excited for what was in store for us, and it would surely be an eye opener.
